Writer pages
- Followers by day
- One reading per day, the last of the UTC day. The chart frame shows at least two weeks, so a new history shows how much is filled. Markers are leaderboard steps: into the top 25, top 10 or #1.
- Last 7 days, last 30 days
- Change against the reading 7 (or 30) days earlier. If that day is missing, the closest reading 7 to 9 days back, and the real span is shown in brackets. Blank until the history is long enough.
- Subscribers
- Substack's rounded count of email subscribers, as shown on the profile ("169K+").
- Paid subscribers
- A band ("Thousands") or the bestseller badge ("1,000+"). Substack doesn't show exact paid counts.
- Leaderboard positions
- Rank on each board the writer is on now, and a heatmap of the rank on every read.
- Recommendations
- The network chart shows the largest publications recommending the writer (left) and those the writer recommends (right). Orange lines started in the last 30 days. Lists below show every one, with Substack's start date.
- Recommended by the same publications
- Writers who share the most recommenders: peers, or similar audiences for a sponsor.
- Who recommends writers like this one
- Publications recommending at least two other writers in the same category and size, but not this one. A list of who to ask.
