Leaderboards and moves

Substack has a Bestsellers board (ranked by paid subscribers) and a Rising board (ranked by recent paid growth) for each category, top 100 each. I read all of them once a day and keep every read.

• Move on a board compares the latest read with the one before it. "new" means the writer wasn't on that board last time.
• Climbed most compares the first and latest read of the last 7 days.
• Steps (in Activity and notifications) are moves into the top 25, top 10 or #1 of Bestsellers, or onto Bestsellers at all; on Rising, the top 10 and #1.
• The heatmap shows the current top 20 on each read; once there are more than four days, one column per day (the day's last read).
